This dish is made up of layers of rice, spaghetti, chicken cooked with veggies, mayonnaise sauce and topped off with fried garlic and green chillies. |
First prepare Rice
Ingredients for Rice:
- CRice (soaked for 30 mins) 2 cups
- CBlack cumin 1/2 tsp
- CWhite Cumin 1/2 tsp
- CSlat to taste
- CPeas (boiled) 1/2 cup
- CStar Anise (Badiyan ka phool) 2
- CWater as required
- COil 4 tbsp
Method
In a pan add oil and black and white cumin seeds and Star Anise. Let them splutter. Now add rice and Peas .Fry for a second and then add water and salt as required. ( I normally add water equivalent to that of rice i.e. 1 cup rice and 1 cup water).Cover the pot. Lower the heat on medium and let rice cook.After 10-15 mins all water will be absorbed by the rice. Now give it a stir , cover and put to steam ( on dum ) for 10 mins on low heat..
Ingredients for Mayonnaise Sauce:
- Mayonnaise 1/2 cup
- Ketchup 4 tbsp
- Vinegar 2 tbsp
- Castor Sugar 1 tsp
- Salt 1 pinch
- Crushed Red Pepper 1/2 tsp
Method:
Mix all these together and set aside.
Now you can prepare Spaghetti
Method:
You will need 1 cup spaghetti. Boil as per package instructions, adding some salt and oil into the boiling water. Drain, then drizzle 1 tbsp. of oil on the pasta to prevent it from clumping together.
Now you can make Chicken and Vegetables gravy
Ingredients for Chicken:
- Chicken (boneless) 500 gm
- Onion (cubes) 1
- Carrot (cubes) 1
- Capsicum (cubes) 1
- Tomato (cubes) 1
- Cabbage 1 cup
- Ginger chopped) 1 tbsp
- Garlic (chopped) 1 tsp
- Garlic (chopped) 1 tsp
- Salt 1 tsp
- Oil 3- 4 tbsp
- Crushed Red Pepper 1 tsp
- Crushed Black Pepper 1 tsp
- Ketchup 4 tbsp
- Chilli Sauce 2 tbsp
- Soya Sauce 2 tbsp
- Water 1 cup
- Corn flour 1 tbsp + 2tbsp water
- Spagetthi (boiled) 1 cup
- Garlic (sliced and fried) 6-8 cloves
- Green Chillies ( split it into half and fried) 6-8

Method
In a pan add oil aand garlic. Fry it till golden brown. then add Chicken and fry till chicken water evaporates. Then add all sesoning. After that add all vegies and water, let chicken cook for 4 - 5 mins. After that add cornflour mixture and lower the heat and let it simmer till thicken. in the end fold Spaghetti.
Now comes the Layering
Take a dish, pour the rice to cover the bottom. Then pour the chicken gravy over. Drizzle the mayonnaise sauce
all around the edges and some in the center. Finally sprinkle fried garlic and chili all over and serve Enjoy!!!
