Lady Finger - Bhindi |
Ingredients:
- Bhindi (Lady Finger) 500 g
- Onion (Scliced) 250g
- Tomatoes (Chopped) 2
- Red Chilli Powder 1 tsp
- Tumeric Powder 1/2 tsp
- Salt 1 tsp
- Zeera (dry roasted) 1 tsp
- Garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Coriander seeds (dry) 1 tsp
- Coriander seeds (dry) 1 tsp
- Aamchor Powder 1/2 tsp
- Ginger & Garlic Paste 1 tsp
- Oil 1/4 cup
- Sesame seeds for garnishing
- Water (optional) 1/4 cup
- Sesame seeds for garnishing
- Water (optional) 1/4 cup
Method::
First cut bhindi in small pieces and deep fry and keep it aside... Add oil in the pan. After that add onions and fry until transparent. After that add tomatoes and all remaining except Aamchor powder. After frying when oil comes up add Bhindi (Lady Finger) and fry it and (if you like gravy then add water otherwise skip it). Keep it covered for simmering for 5 minutes. In the end add Aamchor powder.Dish it out and sprinkle sesame seeds. Serve it with homemade Rotis (Chapati).
